Westpac prospects have been lower off from the financial institution’s on-line providers after an outage on Monday night time that stretched into the early hours of Tuesday.
The financial institution mentioned prospects have been unable to entry their account data through on-line and cell banking platforms following a “routine know-how replace”.
Westpac’s on-line and cell banking system went down late on Monday, December 4.

Downdetector, an internet site that tracks on-line outages, recorded hundreds of complaints from Australians from about 8.30pm, with studies spiking at 9pm.
The financial institution acknowledged the outage about 9.20pm with its social media posts.

Prospects on social media complained they might not log in to their on-line accounts to see their account or card particulars, pay payments or make transfers.
