BJP MP Hema Malini on Tuesday had a straight reply to the suspension of over 100 parliamentarians from the Opposition camp – ”They ask numerous questions and behave unusually”.

Ms Malini, an actor-turned-politician who represents Mathura in Lok Sabha, stated the one aim of the opposition is to disrupt the parliament and uproot the Modi authorities.

The suspension means they’ve completed one thing improper, concluded the two-time MP, justifying the wiping out of almost two-third of the Opposition’s presence from the parliament.

”If they’ve been suspended, it means they’ve completed one thing improper. Work needs to be completed in accordance with Parliament guidelines. They do not do it and so they have been suspended. There may be nothing improper in it, that is appropriate,” she stated.

She additionally referred to yesterday’s assembly of the INDIA alliance – the principle opposition entrance comprising the Congress and prime regional events.

”That’s their aim, one way or the other do not let the Parliament perform and uproot Modi authorities. They’re working so laborious for it, however they will not achieve success,” she stated.

Her remarks got here after 141 MPs – each from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha – had been suspended for the remainder of the Winter Session.

The Opposition alliance has determined to carry a nationwide protest this Friday towards the suspension of the 141 MPs.
