Emergency crews will resume a search on Monday morning for a swimmer believed to have gone lacking in waters off Bronte Seaside.
Surf lifesavers, police, ambulance and air ambulance crews searched into the night time for the person, who was swimming with a good friend when he did not return to the seaside about 7.45pm on Sunday.
Surf Life Saving NSW metropolis department responsibility officer John Restuccia advised 9 Information crews scoured the rocks as far south as Bronte Bogey Gap, close to the baths, earlier than the search was suspended in a single day.
The search could be resumed at first gentle at 6.30am on Monday, he stated.
“There’s just one security message that surf lifesaving has: it’s swim between the flags always, swim at a patrolled seaside always,” Restuccia advised 9 Information.
