Police are on the lookout for witnesses and dashcam footage after a pedestrian was fatally struck and killed on Freeway 401 in Toronto early Sunday morning.
The collision occurred round 2:15 a.m. on the eastbound specific lanes of Freeway 401, west of Kennedy Highway.
A pedestrian was reported on the freeway after a single automobile collision, in line with provincial police.
Police mentioned the pedestrian was then struck and killed.
In a submit on X, previously Twitter, police mentioned they imagine a transport truck struck the pedestrian.
Paramedics informed International Information they didn’t transport anybody to hospital.
The eastbound specific lanes had been closed as police investigated, however they’ve since reopened.
