MP Ex-CM Kamal Nath Condemns UGC Draft, Calls It A ’Conspiracy’ To Finish Reservation For SC/ST/OBCs

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath condemned the brand new draft launched by the College Grants Fee on Monday, calling it the central authorities’s conspiracy to finish reservations for the SC, ST, and OBC teams.

In reality, the College Grants Fee (UGC) has not too long ago ready a draft that claims the reserved seats for SC, ST, and OBCs in larger schooling establishments can be made open to the overall class in case no eligible candidate from the reserved teams is discovered for that seat.

Kamal Nath took to social media to sentence the draft on Monday and wrote, “The anti-reservation face of the Bharatiya Janata Occasion is now coming to the fore. The way in which the College Grants Fee (UGC) has ready the draft to finish the reservation of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Different Backward Lessons within the college, it’s a particularly harmful pattern.”

“This draft states that if eligible candidates from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Different Backward Lessons should not discovered for larger schooling establishments, then the reserved seats ought to be unreserved. It is a clear conspiracy to finish reservations. Earlier in Madhya Pradesh, my authorities had given 27 % reservation to the Different Backward Lessons, which the BJP authorities conspiratorially allowed to finish,” he continued.
