BRUSSELS — A European Parliament assistant working for an MEP within the European Individuals’s Occasion was shot and injured in Brussels on Wednesday evening.
An EPP spokesperson confirmed to POLITICO {that a} lady working for a Swedish member of the group was wounded and brought to hospital with accidents not thought of to be life-threatening. The spokesperson didn’t identify the assistant or the MEP.
Belgian media reported that 4 individuals had been injured within the taking pictures, which came about on Avenue de la Toison d’Or, a preferred purchasing avenue.
