The Particular Job Pressure (STF) of Assam Police has arrested two alleged drug peddlers and seized 29,000 Yaba tablets valued at Rs 7.25 crore from their possession on Thursday night time, a senior official stated.
Based mostly on secret info, a workforce of STF carried out an operation in Katahbari space underneath the Gorchuk police station in Guwahati, DIG (STF) Partha Sarathi Mahanta informed ANI.
”In the course of the operation, we recovered and seized 29,000 Yaba tablets on the Katahbari space underneath Gorchuk police station in Guwahati metropolis. We arrested two individuals from the rented home of peddlers,” he added.
The arrested individuals have been recognized as Mujakkir Hussain of Katahbari and Saiful Islam of Bhella underneath the Barpeta police station.
