A 27-year-old man was arrested on Monday for allegedly snatching cash from an e-rickshaw driver whereas posing as a transgender individual in north Delhi, police mentioned.
Deepak alias Shivani was arrested close to the Chandani Chowk metro station by a group of patrol employees from the Kotwali police station, they mentioned.
”Deepak, posing as a transgender, was working away after snatching Rs 810 from an e-rickshaw driver when our group caught him,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Manoj Kumar Meena mentioned.
