An ”insecure” man allegedly locked up his spouse in a room of their home for weeks in Karnataka’s Mysuru, the police stated on Friday.
Suma, who’s in her early thirties, nevertheless, claimed that she had been locked within the room since her marriage with Sannaiah 12 years in the past.
She has been rescued by the police and despatched to her mother and father’ dwelling.
The lady stated she took care of her nature’s name with the usage of a field within the dwelling as the bathroom was outdoors.
”Our kids, after their college hours, have been made to attend until my husband’s return to enter the home,” the lady, who has two kids, stated.
Chatting with NDTV, a senior police officer stated that the husband, a labourer, used to lock her up inside the home earlier than leaving for work.
”He was insecure,” the officer stated.
”She was confined for the final two to 3 weeks. Her motion was restricted. She has visited her mother and father’ dwelling up to now,” the officer added.
The lady stated she did not need a case to be filed towards her husband and that she had determined to remain at her mother and father’ dwelling and repair her relationship.
She is the third spouse of the person, who has parted methods with the opposite two ladies.
