Israel’s army on Sunday launched footage of what it stated was Hamas members “forcibly transporting hostages” by al-Shifa Hospital on Oct. 7, citing the video as proof that Hamas used the hospital “on the day of the bloodbath as terrorist infrastructure.” Hamas, in response, didn’t dispute that its hostages obtain medical remedy and stated some had been wounded by Israeli airstrikes. “Caring for prisoners … and providing mandatory medical care are factors in our favor,” a member of the Hamas political bureau stated.
