On Tuesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Lead,” Home Minority Chief Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) acknowledged that the report by Merrick Garland-appointed Particular Counsel Robert Hur “was inappropriate, gratuitous, unconscionable, and in some ways, un-American.” As a result of “The American individuals simply merely need the reality, and the reality is that President Biden did nothing flawed and was fully and completely exonerated,” and Hur’s motives weren’t pure, so any conclusions he made “separate and aside from the information and the regulation, must be dismissed.”
Host Jake Tapper requested, “Earlier than you go, sir, a lot of issues expressed by voters and by Particular Counsel Hur about President Biden’s age, his psychological colleges. What’s your response?”
Jeffries responded, “Effectively, the report by the Particular Counsel was inappropriate, gratuitous, unconscionable, and in some ways, un-American. The American individuals simply merely need the reality, and the reality is that President Biden did nothing flawed and was fully and completely exonerated, interval, full cease.
