Navi Mumbai Police has cracked the homicide case of a 45-year-old ragpicker by tracing a stray canine who was current on the spot of the crime which was captured on CCTV digicam, an official mentioned on Wednesday.
The homicide suspect was arrested inside two days of the crime on April 15.
The unidentified man was discovered mendacity in a pool of blood within the Nerul space within the early hours of April 13, following which police launched an investigation.

Throughout a search, officers of Nerul police station discovered a canine with a footpath-dweller below the Nerul flyover who seemed much like the one noticed within the CCTV digicam, he mentioned.
