A home hearth in Lindsay, Ont., early Sunday is being deemed suspicious.
In accordance with Kawartha Lakes Hearth Rescue Service chief Terry Jones, round 2 a.m., emergency crews from Lindsay, Ops and Emily stations responded to a home hearth on Russell Road East.
Jones says the home was destroyed and a neighbour’s home was additionally broken.
No accidents had been reported.
Flames may be seen from a pure gasoline line within the space.
The fireplace chief says the fireplace has been deemed suspicious and the Workplace of the Hearth Marshal and the Kawartha Lakes Police Service are investigating.
It was the second main hearth within the Metropolis of Kawartha Lakes in as many days following a deadly home hearth early Saturday close to Janetville, south of Lindsay.
