Seven individuals have been displaced after a home fireplace in Etobicoke on Tuesday afternoon, in accordance with Toronto fireplace.
Emergency crews responded to an energetic fireplace at a house situated at 75 Silverstone Drive within the space of Kipling and Finch avenues at round 4:40 p.m.
Toronto fireplace stated when crews arrived, they found “heavy smoke.”
Firefighters stated they performed searches of the house and “fortunately” no accidents have been reported.
Whereas the blaze has since been put out, seven individuals have been displaced because of the hearth.
Toronto fireplace says it’s now investigating the blaze and crews stay on scene conducting a firewatch.
It’s unclear what the origin and reason for the hearth was, and it’s unknown if there have been working smoke alarms within the residence on the time.
