The physician lodged a grievance with the Tamil Nadu Police after Tiwari demanded the remainder of the fee. Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption officers then reportedly directed Babu handy over Rs 20 lakh money to Tiwari on December 1. After Tiwari collected the money, the Tamil Nadu Police staff intercepted his car after chasing it on the Dindigul-Madurai freeway for about 20 kms and arrested him.
