Czech get together nominates EU Parliament Quaestor Kolaja for subsequent EU Commissioner – EURACTIV.com


The Czech Pirate Get together has chosen former EU Parliament vice-president and present Quaestor of the European Parliament Marcel Kolaja as its nominee for the put up of European Commissioner through intra-party voting.

Kolaja has been engaged on the one market, digitalisation, web freedom and transparency within the EU Parliament.

The present Czech Vice-President of the EU Fee, Věra Jourová, will not search one other mandate.

Among the many potential candidates are Jozef Síkela (STAN), the present Czech Minister of Business and Commerce, and Jiří Šedivý, head of the European Defence Company. One other potential contender is Danuše Nerudová, who expressed curiosity within the place.
