California-bound Alaska Airways flight loses window, pressured to land


An Alaska Airways flight certain for Southern California was pressured to show round and make an emergency touchdown after a gap opened within the aspect of the airplane shortly after taking off Friday evening.

A video posted to TikTok by a passenger on the flight confirmed a panel on the left aspect of airplane lacking, with insulation foam seen. Oxygen masks had been deployed from the ceiling.

The Federal Aviation Administration and Nationwide Transportation Security Board are investigating the incident.
