A Beverley grandfather has died after the microlight plane he was in crashed in Western Australia’s Wheatbelt.
John Wilson’s household had been watching the eager aviation fanatic on a solo flight when the plane crashed shortly after 11am on Saturday onto his neighbour’s property in Beverley, positioned about 130 kilometres south-east of Perth.
Wilson sustained important accidents within the incident and died shortly after.
It’s understood the 69-year-old pilot, who had 20 years value of flying expertise, misplaced management of the microlight plane a brief distance from the Wheatbelt city’s airstrip.
