BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 7. The earthquake
that occurred on the territory of Azerbaijan on December 7 has not
affected the Baku Metro operation, Baku Metropolitan CJSC informed
Pattern.
Baku Metropolitan CJSC stated that trains are transferring in line with
the same old schedule, and gear and services are in working
situation.
”Following the instruction of the administration of Baku
Metropolitan, a unprecedented inspection of all constructions and
gear included within the infrastructure of the metro, in
explicit floor sections, together with the infrastructure of
electrical depot and highway services is being carried out,” the
assertion stated.
The earthquake was recorded within the Caspian Sea, 60 km east of
Siyazan station. The magnitude of the earthquake amounted to five.6
factors. The earthquake was registered at a depth of 68 km.
