Police have charged a 34-year-old man with aggravated sexual assault after he allegedly broke into an aged care facility on the NSW Central Coast and assaulted a 90-year-old lady in the course of the night time, leaving her with severe accidents.
Employees on the facility known as police simply after midnight on November 15 after discovering the injured lady, who was taken to hospital for therapy.
On Monday night, detectives arrested Brett Anthony Crawford, from The Entrance, at a home in Caves Seashore. They allege he tried to flee once they arrived on the home.
Crawford was taken to hospital for minor accidents to his arm and upon his launch was charged with aggravated break and enter, inflict precise bodily hurt with intent to have sexual activity, and aggravated sexual assault.
He was refused bail and can seem in Belmont Native Court docket on Tuesday.
