Mumbai : An incident of landslide was reported on Netaji Highway at Ghatkopar West on Friday night time. Round 10 to 12 huts have been vacated instantly as a precautionary measure. No main accidents have been reported until 11 pm, confirmed the civic official.
The incident happened close to Himalaya society in Valmiki Nagar at 9.15 pm. The Mumbai Hearth brigade, native police and N ward officers instantly rushed to the spot. Two hearth engines and hearth tankers, two JCBs together with 4 ambulances and labours are deployed on the spot. The scenario is below management, stated the civic official.
”There are some huts within the landslide susceptible space forward of Himalaya society. We instantly shifted the residents from a couple of of the huts for security functions. As per the knowledge from native individuals, nobody is trapped contained in the collapsed huts. Nonetheless, the world might be saved below statement,” stated a civic official of N ward.
Though no main harm have been reported, the residents of the huts have been shortly moved to a close-by civic marketplace for momentary accomodation.
