A significant fireplace broke out in a single coach of a practice parked on the teaching depot at Puri railway station on Tuesday, officers stated.
Puri Assistant Hearth Officer stated that the incident occurred at round 12.30 pm when the practice had come to the teaching depot for servicing.
”The fireplace was reported on the washing line. Subsequently, an enormous operation was launched by the fireplace providers division personnel to douse the flames,” the official stated, including that one bogie was destroyed within the blaze.
It’s suspected that the fireplace may need been attributable to to short-circuit within the battery-related compartment.
Nevertheless, the explanation behind the fireplace is but to be ascertained.
”An investigation shall be performed to establish the reason for fireplace. The practice was being repaired. We may even evaluate the situation of the battery. The fireplace has been utterly contained,” stated an official of the teaching depot.
