Kolkata: Trinamool Congress (TMC) Krishnanagar candidate Mahua Moitra on Thursday had skipped the Enforcement Directorate (ED) summon and began campaigning for the election.
Speaking to the media, Mahua mentioned that she is going to marketing campaign in Kaliganj Meeting constituency underneath Krishnanagar Lok Sabha constituency.
Whereas campaigning Mahua added, “ED has accomplished its job and has summoned me and I’m doing my job which is campaigning.”
It’s pertinent to say that Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday had summoned Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief and Krishnanagar candidate Mahua Moitra and businessman Darshan Hiranandani in a International Change Administration Act (FEMA) case on the nationwide capital on Thursday.
Mahua Moitra’s Ongoing Controversies With ED
Moitra was earlier summoned by the ED twice however, citing official work she had deferred the assembly.
