Adani Group Has Rs 60,000-Crore Plan To Expand 7 Airports: Karan Adani

The Adani Group has plans to increase seven airports within the nation over the subsequent 5 5-10 years with a capital expenditure of Rs 60,000 crore. Out of this, Rs 30,000 crore can be spent on the ’airside’ and the remaining can be spent on the ’cityside’ on the airports in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Guwahati, Jaipur, and Thiruvananthapuram, stated Adani Airports Holdings (AAHL) CEO Arun Bansal.

The ’airside’ is the portion of the airport that features arrival and departure areas, runway, management towers, and hangars. ’Cityside’ refers back to the space across the airport the place industrial services are positioned.

Mr Adani additionally clarified that the Rs 18,000 crore allotted for the Section-I improvement on the Navi Mumbai airport isn’t a part of the 60,000 crore growth plan.
