Nashik: Gram Sevak Netaji Shivaji Bhabad and a person named Shamrao Manikrao Barskar have been apprehended by the Anti Corruption Division for allegedly accepting a bribe of ₹ 15,000. A case has been filed in opposition to them on the Jamkhed Police Station.
In line with the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), the grievance was lodged by the spouse of the complainant, who owns roughly two hectares of land in Group No. 114 at Mauje Wagha. The complainant had submitted a proposal for the development of a private irrigation properly underneath the Mahatma Gandhi Nationwide Employment Assure Scheme to the Gram Panchayat Wagha.
The ACB obtained the grievance on February 22, stating that Gram Sevak Bhabad and Barskar had been demanding bribes to approve the proposal and ahead it to the Jamkhed Panchayat Samiti. Subsequently, through the verification course of on February 22 and 23, each Bhabad and Barskar had been allegedly caught demanding a bribe of ₹ 15,000.
Barskar was apprehended red-handed whereas accepting the bribe in entrance of the Panchayat. The case in opposition to Bhabad and Barskar is at the moment being processed on the Jamkhed Police Station.
