The CBI on Tuesday searched the premises of former Division for Promotion of Trade and Inner Commerce (DPIIT) secretary Ramesh Abhishek after registering an FIR in opposition to him for amassing property disproportionate to his identified sources of revenue, officers stated.
The 1982-batch IAS officer retired in 2019 from DPIIT (erstwhile Division of Industrial Coverage and Promotion) and personal firms in numerous capacities.
It’s alleged that he has amassed property which had been disproportionate to his authentic sources of revenue.
Anti-corruption ombudsman Lokpal was additionally wanting into allegations of disproportionate property in opposition to the officer.
