How do poets write solely of necessary issues?
Might I? Of males touching me with arms of sawdust and grease
you realize the sensation;
of Syria, Lebanon, groves of blood and olives,
magenta streeted cities emptied of our bodies
(and the our bodies left are empty)
erupted structure and
mourned empires quickly to be forgotten.
I’ve banished the considered their pets.
Shall I write of illness and all these
incurable issues that one half of the world
believes may by no means occur to them.
What does one say in regards to the ripe fanatics
surrounding us, so shut now
we may even tango, we may
stick our tongues out and lick
the poison off the bushy ears of those
folks who wield their artful instrument tyranny.
Shall I waste ink on the zombie citizens
corpus of hate, serving the corporate of
outliers to the olden techniques of affection.
How males with beards are extra possible
to vanish right here at the same time as these mega prized cities
slip violently to sea, somewhat extra every year.
Let me write of the factor that stays
let me write of the unimportant moon.
