Famous poet and artist Inderjeet, generally known as Imroz, recognized for his enduring relationship with poet Amrita Pritam, handed away in Mumbai on Friday on the age of 97 on account of age-related points, household sources mentioned.
Alka Kwatra, Pritam’s daughter-in-law, advised PTI that his final rites had been carried out on the Dahanukarwadi crematorium at Kandivli in north Mumbai within the presence of household and shut mates.
The funeral pyre was lit by Pritam’s granddaughter.
