NEWARK, N.J. — A bull ran onto New Jersey TRANSIT tracks Thursday in Newark, inflicting delays for riders into Manhattan. 

Police say the bull was noticed round 10:45 a.m. on Frelinghuysen Avenue close to Victoria Avenue and was ultimately corralled right into a fenced in space. An area animal sanctuary will then get well and take care of it.

NJ TRANSIT posted a photograph of the bull on social media, displaying it on the tracks close to Newark Penn Station.   

Officers say the bull is now not on the tracks, nevertheless it’s unclear if it has been captured.
