Former Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ), a candidate for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, stated Wednesday on CNN’s post-Republican debate protection that his rival Vivek Ramaswamy is a “jackass” with a “smart-ass Harvard mouth.”
When requested about defending his rival Nikki Haley, Christie stated, “Nikki and I disagree. I don’t assume she needs to be president of the USA. She is a brilliant girl and an completed girl, and labored extremely laborious each in South Carolina and within the U.N.. I believe Vivek does have a girl drawback. I do assume he insults girls’s primary intelligence. He’s executed it over and over and over. And I assume tonight, I simply had had sufficient. I had sufficient of listening to his rubbish, and as I stated, his smart-ass Harvard mouth, as a result of that’s what it’s when he’s dictating to me. Nikki Haley. We now have dedicated ourselves to public service whereas he’s been off stealing from seniors to make his fortune. Yeah, I’m not going to place up with him anymore.”
Christie concluded, “If somebody is insulting Nikki Haley in a approach that was private, it was nothing about points, he stated she isn’t good sufficient to know the place issues on the map, that his 3-year-old son is smarter than a girl who served as a two-term governor and U.N. ambassador, he’s a jackass. It’s not me forming an alliance with Nikki Haley. ”
