At the very least 65 individuals have been killed in landslides and flooding triggered by heavy rainfall in northern Tanzania, Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa stated on Tuesday, revising the dying toll of 68 given by regional officers a day earlier.
Torrential downpours over the weekend washed away automobiles and introduced down buildings within the hillside city of Katesh, 300km (185 miles) north of the capital, Dodoma.
