Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The meals and civil provides division sealed the Empire Bio Diesel pump in village Dharawara of Depalpur late on Tuesday for promoting bio-diesel illegally.
Officers seized 1,932 litres of bio-diesel and 300 litres of bio-diesel lifeless inventory on the pump. Bio-diesel was being poured into the gasoline tank of a big automobile by way of an unlawful allotting unit.
Officers mentioned the unlawful refilling was happening for the previous 4 to 5 months.
On reaching the spot, the workforce discovered a small diesel tanker on the pump. It contained 90 litres of bio-diesel. Aside from this, 1,842 litres of bio-diesel was discovered within the 20,000-litre capability underground tank constructed on the pump. The bio-diesel was being illegally offered to truck drivers.
Pump supervisor Arjun Singh, who was on the pump when the officers reached, confessed that he was illegally promoting bio-diesel on orders of pump proprietor Shubham Bhanpurkar.
He mentioned the pump operator used to offer info over the cellphone to truck drivers and name them to fill bio-diesel on the pump. The meals division workforce seized the tanker containing bio-diesel, out of which 300 litres of bio-diesel lifeless inventory was sealed in an underground tank.
